Google Chrome stable version (stable channel) now officially supports extensions, though there are not many extension available right now, but still worth a try.


1. Install the extensions


You will need to go to the Google chrome extension home page , to select and install the extension(s) that you want (Figure 1).

Choose the extension(s) that you want to use and click on “Install” for each one(Figure 2), once you have clicked “install”, you will see the following message for each extension you have chosen(Figure 3).Click “Install “to complete the installation.

After installing the extension that you want to use, Chrome will look like this (Figure 4), Notice that extension(s) are displaying side-by-side in the upper-right corner.

2. Uinstall the extensions


Now that you have new extensions, how do you access them or delete them if you change your mind about them? The extension manager can be access in two ways.


Type or paste “Chrome: //extensions” (without the quote marks) into the address bar and hit “Enter”.


Access it by clicking the wrench icon and then Extensions (Figure5).

Here is what the extension manager look like (Figure 6). To uninstall any of the extension simply click on the “Uninstall” button.
